ATMequipment.com Helps Hurricane Sandy Victims
KAYSVILLE, Utah, Nov. 5, 2012——ATMequipment.com donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. ATMequipment.com will also match customer donations to the American Red Cross up to an additional $10,000.
“As we received calls from our customers in the New York and New Jersey markets, the extent of the devastation became clear,” said Jeff Matthews, COO of Grant Victor. “Many customers are missing machines, power lines are down, and independent ATM operators are losing business daily. At ATMequipment.com we wanted to help these business owners recover as quickly as possible.”
In addition to the donations, ATMequipment.com is offering unprecedented discounts and free delivery on new machines to those in affected areas of the country. Jim Ethridge, President of ATMequipment.com stated, “We will do whatever we can to help our customers rebuild their businesses and get back on their feet.”
Michael Lee, CEO of the ATM Industry Association said, "ATMIA shares in the concern for ATM operators in affected East Coast markets at this exceptionally difficult time. These small business owners not only have equipment investments that are at risk, but often have their own personal funds in these machines. ATMEquipment.com's generosity in helping with the relief effort and in providing financial incentives to operators is highly commendable and sets the tone for the industry to follow. We applaud them for their contribution,”
